CardLogix CREDENTSYS™ smart card receives NIST, FIPS 201 certification for national ID

CardLogix’s smart card, CREDENTSYS-J™ has been certified by NIST and FIPS 201. By receiving their certification, their smart card can now go to the next stage of approval for the U.S. Government’s Personal Identity Verification (PIV) program. Testing for these certifications, which cover algorithms and software applet verification, was performed by Infogard Laboratories, Inc. The cards have undergone reliability and durability testing in accordance with the FIPS 201 standard and the Department of Defense (DOD) Common Access Card requirements, with testing done by Exponent Labs.
