Product Description
High security multi-technology contactless smart card reader. Excellent for meeting FIPS 201 requirements or transitioning from legacy smart cards to PIV cards. Reads FIPS 201 PIV-II, FRAC, TWIC-1, CAC-2, MIFARE and DESFire 13.56 MHz smart cards. Listed on GSA's Approved Products List (APL). When connected to a Hirsch Velocity Security Management System, will process both the FASC-N and card expiration date. For use as a physical access control system (PACS) door/gate reader. ISO 14443 A & B, Parts 1-4.
