Product Description
High security multi-technology contactless smart card reader. Excellent for meeting FIPS 201 requirements or transitioning from standard prox to smart cards, including PIV. Reads 125 kHz prox cards as well as FIPS 201 PIV-II, FRAC, TWIC-1, CAC-2, MIFARE and DESFire 13.56 MHz smart cards. Listed on GSA's Approved Products List (APL). When connected to a Hirsch Velocity Security Management System, will process both the FASC-N and card expiration date. For use as a physical access control system (PACS) door/gate reader. ISO 14443 A & B, Parts 1-4.
