Product Description
This approval could actually serve for all of the other products in the Smarter-ID Solutions line. This is the actual shielding material in a thin film laminate form that can be used to create a FIPS 201 compliant sleeve out of most existing COTS badge holders and sleeves. The Skim-SHIELD™ was submitted and approved with the stipulation that it be used in such a way that it remains within 2mm of the card in its shielded state. The idea is that if an agency has already made an investment in a standard ID badge holder solution, Logic First, LLC can work with them to shield this holder using the Skim-SHIELD™ as the most cost-effective solution.
