With the introduction of the V-Station (Optical), Bioscrypt has added SecuGen’s optical sensor technology to its line of readers for physical access control with a 500 DPI optical sensor. Bioscrypt’s patented fingerprint pattern matching algorithm and supporting firmware are the foundation for the identity verification performance of the new reader.
The V-Station (Optical) can be used for multi-factor authentication by supporting not only fingerprint biometric verification but personal identification numbers, proximity cards, tokens and smart cards.
