Two Fargo high definition printers/encoders, the HDP600 and HDP600-LC, have made the GSA FIPS 201 Approved Products List. The company’s high definition printing process prints images on the under side of a special film that fuses to the surface of a card through heat and pressure. Since the printhead never comes in contact with the card surface itself, print quality is not affected by any card surface imperfections.
