Digital Identification Solutions AG has received notification from the U.S. General Services Administration that its two recent submissions to the FIPS 201 product list have been approved.??

The two new products are the EDIsecure XID 8300 Retransfer ID Card Printer and ILM-DS combined system, and the EDIsecure DCP 360+ Direct ID Card Printer and ILM combined system.

Previously the EDIsecure XID 590i Retransfer Printer and Inline Lamination Unit (ILU) has been approved in August 2006. Since then, that solution was updated to the more recent EDIsecure XID 590ie series model, using the same ILU Laminator.

This now allows Digital Identification Solutions and its reseller partners to offer three FIPS 201 certified solutions to federal departments and the integrators and contractors to create secure and interoperable ID cards for employees.??
