Fingerprint security solutions provider UPEK will be demonstrating at CTST what the company calls the first silicon fingerprint sensor that complies with FIPS 201 standards. The TouchChip is already being deployed in national ID programs in Thailand and Malaysia, and offers, says UPEK, a cost savings over larger and more expensive optical sensors.
